• This teapot's body is 1mm solid copper. Lined with nonreactive food safe tin. Not lacquered/varnished. So it will develop a natural patina on the body, as real copper should.
• GUARANTEED 100% COPPER - AUTHENTICITY TEST : After receiving the teapot, if for any reason you suspect that it is not copper, drill a hole anywhere on the teapot's body and check the hole. You will see 1 mm thick copper along the hole. Nothing else. We will send you a replacement immediately if you decide to do this test and send us the photos afterwards. (This test should be done within 7 days of receiving the kettle to avoid abuse of the replacement guarantee).
